I Must be the New Spam Princess!
Today instead of going surfing as I usually would I decided to go play tennis with a friend instead. I'm not a terrible tennis player but I'm not particularly great either. I'm very competative though and I hate losing. I'm not a sore loser or anything, I just hate when it happens. Today I got my ass kicked totally. I'm not sure if its because I played worse than usual or my friend played better or some combination, but seriously, it was embarassing how badly I did. Still, I had a great time, but it would have been better if I was winning instead.
So after I was done with that I came home and took a shower (yes I soaped up my little tits and hairless little pussy along with the rest of me) and then it was time to finish going through my email. Once again I finally got through the email that was waiting for me. I tend to go through phases in which I really stay on top of it and other times when I get busy and I get behind. The funny thing is, I really LOVE to get email from people, especially when they share their kinky naughty ideas or fantasies or just want to share their thoughts with me . Seriously, I totally love that stuff.
The problem for me though sometimes is dealing with all the spam I get. I think everyone gets a lot of spam, but it seems as though I get more than usual. Don't believe me? I'm averaging over 2000 spam mails a week. While my spam mail filter helps weed out most of the bad stuff, a few dozen still seem to slip through each day and sometimes I'll get legitimate emails that have a subject that looks like spam and sometimes legitimate emails don't even make it that far because the spam filter throws them in the pile with the other 2000 and if you think I'm going to go scrolling through 2000 spam emails to find out if one or two might be real, well I don't think that's going to happen. So if you didn't get a response from me, this is probably what happened. If you make sure you put my name in the subject or say something about bondage or whatever, I'll pay more attention to it than if you leave the subject blank or something.
I've said before I guess people must be buying stuff from the spam, otherwise it wouldn't make sense to keep sending it. Of course the trick most of the spam seems to use now is to put spaces or punctuation in words so the filters can't catch them, but most of the filters are up on that anyway. For example, today's spam pile includes old favorites about refinancing, bad credit, fake rolexes, free I-pods, free giftcards, and of course hot anime adult action. Nothing except the last one interested me at all and frankly I wouldn't have had any interest in the anime unless of course it was of the bondage variety anyway. Of course you already knew that because I have a pretty good bondage anime collection at my webcage so that's always exciting. Still as fun as bondage cartoons are (because you can have any fantasy apply with no limits) I still like the real thing better.
Anyway, I want to hear what you think, share your comments or thoughts about this subject or any of the others I've written about, I love to get feedback but even more, I love to hear what you have to say about things.

Yeah, spam can be a hassle...after ahwhile I eventually changed to a new email address when spam became overly ridiculous on my last email account. And as for adult animation, yes its a good way show a fantasy with no limits. So is a person's imagination. For example, right now I'm imagining you dressed like a sexy slut, gagged, hooded, and on display for everyone to see. Well maybe I have an overactive imagination...
The bad news about spam is that only one person in 100,000 has to buy something for it to turn a profit.
Spam is just one of those generalized negatives of Internet usage. I never respond to them as a form of penalty against them, and when it comes to websites I visited that generated the spam sent to me I stop going to them; unfortunately, that's a lot of pretty cool fetish websites I sadly had to give up. I know its them because of the content sent, and the content is sent no sooner than when I check my email afterwards.
And unfortunately for you Maliia, and other website hosts, you're targeted largely because of website and bandwidth. Tracking cookiees latch on to you like leeches on a open wound.
Leeches on an open wound. That's a nice mental image. Actually its true though that part of the reason I get so much spam is because my email address shows up in a few places on my website, so they get it from there. Also they get it from my domain registration as well and who knows where else.
As for the content on the spam, don't be so quick to judge. Sometimes content isn't exclusive to a site. If its not exclusive then many sites may have it and the site doing the spamming may not be the same as the one you were going to. Even if the content is exclusive, it doesn't mean it wasn't stolen. Spammers aren't really what I would call honorable people so I wouldn't doubt that they might steal content and spam with it. I wouldn't be surprised if some of my photos and other things of me had not been stolen to promote some other site. Sure its stealing and its illegal but its hard to stay on top of that. Personally, I've never resorted to spam to promote my little webcage and never would.
As for the other comment...sexy slut, gagged, on display. Mmm, sounds delicious!
Spam sucks. Thank god for gmail's spam filter it does a fabulous job and automatically deletes them after 30 days but their are currently 10,000 emails in that folder. Which means any real email that gets put there is gone forever to me.
LOL! Well, I was a little strong in my metaphor, but you get the gist. It's good you don't go the spam route to promote your webcage.
And you don't have 'running across the screen popups' and other web annoyances. Not very many fetish sites do, but just in general in the web as a whole.....ugh.
I have found that double forwarding My mail thru gmail and yahoo works wonders. I get about 4-5 bits of spam a day now and at least two of those are for yahoo products.
I just went back to college last summer for a second degree. Since I returned to my alma mater, I got my old E-mail address back, and I made an interestind discovery. My old accound, which had been shut down for 3 years was still being spammed! So I have a six year old account, that at one time was my honeypot for all those websites that required a confirmation address, and now I have to use it. Really regretting some of those decisions....
In case anybody's wondering, my degree is in physics... Yeah... That's some pain.
